Barre is a fun, low-impact aerobic workout that incorporates movements from ballet. The class focuses on high repetitions and small, isometric movements to focus on your entire lower body and core. This 60 minute total body workout includes 1-3 pound weights for a strength conditioning warm up, core work and a barre or stabilizer to be used for balance while doing pliés, pulses and poses combined to help tone, increase overall flexibility and improve endurance. Mats are needed for pre-post class stretching and core work. No experience necessary.
