Learn the basics of the nervous system from Kelly Friedberg ERYT 500 as she shares her knowledge, both through the lens of her formal training and from her personal experience with anxiety and depression. She will teach the anatomy of the breath and the body’s physical response to both long and short term stress, lending an understanding to the ways the mind and body are intricately connected and how they are both affected in between stimulus to response.

Then you will experience the ways specific yoga poses, movement patterns, breathwork and guided relaxation can help to reverse the stress response in the body and welcome healing to begin. Kelly will lead you through a mix of gentle hatha and restorative yoga and will weave it all together with breath work and meditation.
